1. Who we are

Visionhost B.V. is the controller for the personal data processed via this website.

2. What data we process

If you contact us via the contact form, we process the data you enter yourself:

• Name and company name
• Business e-mail address and (optionally) phone number
• The subject of your enquiry and your message

In addition, we process limited technical data when the form is submitted: your IP address (to prevent abuse) and — if you arrived via an advertisement or campaign — campaign parameters (such as utm codes and an ad-click id). Your enquiry is stored so that we can follow it up, and it is notified to our team.

3. Why and on what legal basis

We use this data solely to contact you, answer your question and follow up on your enquiry. Legal basis: the performance of — pre-contractual — measures at your request, and our legitimate interest in following up business interest. We do not use your data for any other purpose and never sell it.

4. Retention periods

We keep contact enquiries for a maximum of 12 months after the last point of contact. If you become a client, the retention periods from the agreement and the statutory (tax) retention obligations apply.

5. Cookies and external resources

This website places no tracking or advertising cookies and loads no external resources from third parties: fonts, scripts and images all come from our own server. No data therefore goes to parties such as Google. We only store a functional language preference (NL/EN) and a technical session in your browser to make the site work properly. Were we ever to add analytics tools, we would update this statement and, where necessary, ask for consent first.

6. Who we share data with

Only with parties needed to run the website and our services, such as our hosting party (EU data centres) and the e-mail service through which we receive your enquiry. We conclude data processing agreements with these parties. We do not transfer data outside the European Economic Area, unless with appropriate safeguards.

7. Security

All connections are encrypted (TLS). Access to your data is limited to the employees who handle your enquiry.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. E-mail your request to info@visionhost.com; we respond within one month. Are you dissatisfied with how we handle your data? Then you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

9. Visionhost as a processor (for clients)

If we build or manage software on your behalf in which personal data is processed, we act as a processor: you are the controller, Visionhost is the processor. Such assignments include a data processing agreement — its terms are set out in Addendum A of our terms and conditions and cover, among other things, the purpose and nature of the processing, confidentiality, security, sub-processors, data breach notifications and the deletion or return of data afterwards.
