Warehouse automation · custom
A warehouse that keeps itself up to date
Not a standard WMS that you "install", but warehouse automation we build around how your warehouse works. Below are several of the processes we automated for a fresh-produce company — from the container to the outgoing pallet.
Always custom. Every warehouse has its own products, spaces and rules. We don’t take an off-the-shelf system, but build the automation that fits your situation — the examples below show what’s possible.

Container tracking & smart receiving
One system that tracks the entire inbound flow and keeps the warehouse up to date in real time — linked to the purchase order in your ERP, without switching between screens.
- Container tracked by numberAs soon as a container is unloaded, everyone (sales and warehouse) is notified automatically.
- Insight without switchingPer container you immediately see what’s inside — linked to the PO in the ERP, no separate system.
- Unique pallet label on receiptEvery incoming pallet gets its own label. The system knows stock and shelf life per pallet — not just a total per order.
- Scan-to-best-locationOn scanning, the system looks at how much of the container has already been sold and automatically splits between pick zone and bulk zone — giving the best location per scan.
- Shelf life monitoredFor fresh products, the best-before date is tracked per pallet, so the oldest goes out first.

The self-service dock kiosk
In the past, two people spent all day dealing with drivers: asking for a reference, opening the door, calling an order picker, printing documents, getting them signed and scanned. Now the driver does it himself at a kiosk with a connected printer:
- 1The driver types or scans his reference at the kiosk.
- 2Selects the dock where his truck is parked.
- 3LED lights flash at that dock and in the warehouse.
- 4Order pickers immediately see which pallets (X, Y, Z) go to dock 5.
- 5Transport documents are printed, with an access code for the door to the docks.
The signing, scanning and linking of documents to the order? Fully automated. No front desk, no queue, no retyping — 2 FTE and €80,000 per year saved for one warehouse.
- 1 Driver scans/types his reference
- 2 Selects the dock where the truck is parked
- 3 LEDs flash at the dock and in the warehouse
- 4 Order pickers bring pallets X, Y, Z to dock 5
- 5 Transport documents + door code roll out
2 FTE front office saved
no front desk, manual communication or forgotten actions
